We are deeply saddened by the passing of Andrew (Andy) Rueppel, a cherished member of our rescue family and a man whose heart was as big as his beloved dog, Honey Bear.Honey Bear came to Pacific Animal Society with a difficult past. She was wary, wounded, and unsure. But Andy saw past her fears and offered her what every rescue animal dreams of—patience, safety, and unconditional love. Together, they built a bond that reminded us all why this work matters.In lieu of flowers, Andy’s family kindly asked that donations be made to Pacific Animal Society to help continue the kind of rescue work he so deeply believed in. We are honored and humbled by this tribute to his generous spirit.Our thoughts are with Andy’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched. May we all strive to love as he did—with an open heart and gentle hands. ❤️🐾
